Frequently Asked Questions
Detailed answers regarding our white-label post-production workflow, turnaround benchmarks, software compatibility, and risk-reversal trial for wedding videographers.
1. What is white label wedding video editing? +
White label wedding video editing is a completely confidential post-production arrangement where an external editing studio cuts, grades, and mixes wedding footage invisibly on behalf of a videography brand. Wedding Edit Lab operates under strict Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs).
We never watermark films, post client projects to our social channels, or communicate with end couples. All finished master exports and project archives carry your studio branding exclusively, allowing you to scale your business capacity without hiring in-house staff.
2. How long does it take to edit a wedding film? +
Wedding Edit Lab delivers initial highlight film cuts within 48 to 72 hours of receiving footage and brief instructions. Full-length documentary edits and multi-day luxury wedding films are typically delivered within 4 to 5 business days.
Our studio operates continuous editing shifts across US and UK time zones, enabling overnight progress while you sleep. Revision requests are prioritized and returned within 24 hours.
3. Do you use AI in your wedding film editing? +
No. Wedding Edit Lab enforces a strict zero-AI policy for creative cutting. Every timeline cut, narrative assembly, emotion-driven speech integration, sound design layer, and color grading node is executed manually by experienced senior human editors.
While automated tools cannot comprehend emotional nuances, unscripted pauses, or intuitive visual rhythm, our human editors craft bespoke wedding films tailored to your studio signature look.
4. What file formats do you accept for wedding films? +
We accept all professional video and audio formats. This includes ProRes, ProRes RAW, Sony XAVC S/HS (S-Log3), Canon Cinema RAW Light / XF-AVC (C-Log2/3), Panasonic V-Log, REDCODE RAW, and Blackmagic RAW.
Audio files can be submitted as 24-bit/32-bit float WAV or MP3 files recorded from lavaliers, handheld mics, and DJ boards. Finished exports are delivered as master ProRes or optimized H.264/H.265 4K and 1080p MP4 files.
5. Can I see examples of your wedding film editing styles? +
Yes. Our interactive showcase highlights our five core editing profiles: Moody (warm cinematic shadows and emotional pacing), Airy (radiant highlights and clean skin tones), Documentary (chronological, speech-driven narrative), LOVE (high-energy modern editorial rhythm), and Reel (9:16 vertical edits for social delivery).
We can also review your past delivered films and calibrate a custom project template matching your precise LUTs and pacing.
6. How much does it cost to outsource wedding film editing? +
Our pricing is transparent and flat-rate with zero hidden fees. Essential Highlight edits (5–7 minutes) are $220 per film. Pro Cinematic Feature films (8–10 minutes) with advanced sound design are $299 per film. High-volume studios can choose our Volume 4x monthly plan at $900/month for 4 completed films with a dedicated lead editor.
Every package includes 2 free revision rounds, full color grading, and commercial music licensing.
7. What NLE software do you support? +
We natively support DaVinci Resolve Studio (.drp), Adobe Premiere Pro (.prproj), and Apple Final Cut Pro (.fcpxml).
We can deliver either rendered master video files or fully organized native project archives with reconnectable proxy links so you can open the project inside your own editing bay.
8. How do I send my footage to Wedding Edit Lab? +
Footage is submitted via high-speed cloud transfer using Dropbox, Google Drive, Frame.io, MASV, or our dedicated private upload portal.
Most studios upload lightweight 1080p ProRes Proxy or H.264 proxy files generated automatically during camera offload to minimize upload duration. Once the edit is approved, you can relink to high-resolution raw footage or have us grade directly on the source media.
9. What happens if I am not happy with the edit? +
Every project includes two complete rounds of revisions at no additional cost. You can leave timestamped notes via Frame.io or email, and your editor will adjust cuts, music timing, speech pacing, or color balance within 24 hours.
Furthermore, our 3-Film Risk-Reversal Onboarding allows new studio clients to submit up to 3 films with $0 upfront deposit; you only pay after you review and approve the final master cut.
10. How is Wedding Edit Lab different from other wedding video editing services? +
Unlike marketplace freelancers on generic gig sites or automated AI editing apps, Wedding Edit Lab provides dedicated senior editors paired with your studio for long-term stylistic consistency.
We offer guaranteed 72-hour turnaround, strict non-disclosure security, direct Slack/WhatsApp communication, flat-rate pricing without hourly creep, and a $0 upfront trial to guarantee complete quality alignment.
